9月25日，加拿大新布伦瑞克大学（University of New Brunswick，简称UNB）招生官蒋女士来访我校，为同学们详尽地介绍了该大学新一年的招生情况，包括：学校概况、专业优势、地理位置、各专业招生要求等等，并对学生感兴趣的问题逐一进行了解答。

On Wednesday September 25, Ms. Jiang, the admission officer of University of New Brunswick (UNB), visited our school and provided students with detailed information on the admission requirements for the 2020-2021 academic year. Her presentation included information regarding the school profile, major advantages, geographical location and academic requirements for each faculty and major. In addition, she provided an opportunity for individual students to ask questions. 

相信很多12年级的学生对这所大学都不会陌生，因为有的同学高二赴加修学就曾到过NB省，对当地优美的自然风光和热情好客的友好家庭印象非常深刻。

Many students in the audience are familiar with this university. Some students completed a semester of their grade 11 program in New Brunswick as part of the short-term study program organized by the Sino-Canada Program here at Soochow University High School. The students were deeply impressed by the beautiful natural scenery and friendly host family they experienced last year.

UNB不仅是加拿大最古老的英语授课大学，也是加拿大东部排名第一，全加拿大排名第四的综合类大学。该校的工程学院被“Knight School Rankings”评为加拿大TOP10，其商学院课程均有co-op带新实习机会。UNB也是与IBM公司组成沃森（Waston）网络安全项目的北美8所大学之一。

UNB is not only the oldest English-speaking University in Canada, but also ranks first in Eastern Canada and fourth Nationally for comprehensive university study. The Engineering Department of UNB was rated in the TOP 10 in Canada by "Knight School Rankings". Many of the courses in the faculty of Business include a co-op component. These provide students with paid internship opportunities with businesses and companies province wide. UNB is also one of eight universities in North America that have formed the Watson Network Security Program with IBM.

The new facility attracted forty outstanding NRC researchers, technicians and 12 experts in the field of satellite research to the campus.


 ❒ 录取要求（针对加拿大课程体系）

Ø 高中平均分达到75%以上；

Ø 雅思总分6.5（单项不低于6.0）或English 12 Final达到70%以上；

Ø 有校长推荐信的学生优先考虑。

Admission requirements (for the Canadian curriculum system)

Ø High school average above 75%;

Ø IELTS overall 6.5 with no band below 6.0 or English 12 Final over 70%;

Ø Students with a letter of recommendation from the Principal are preferred.
